Asbury Park is a New Jersey shore town that most people know from the Bruce Springsteen album Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. and the rock club The Stone Pony. Asbury Park has many music venues, restaurants, galleries and shops to keep you entertained. Here's a few of my favorite places to visit when I'm there:
The Silverball Museum
The Silverball Museum is a pinball museum featuring dozens of vintage pinball games that you can actually play. My favorites: Xenon, Evil Knievil, and the Simpsons Game.
The Asbury Lanes
Asbury Lanes is the only venue in Asbury Park (and maybe the rest of the world) to combine a bowling alley, rock music venue, art gallery, snack bar and booze bar. It's my favorite place to see bands in Asbury Park.
Parlor Gallery
I don't have any photos of Parlor Gallery, but trust me, it is awesome. I've purchased many pieces of art there from artists such as Mike Bell and Hannah Stouffer.
Art Around Town
Shepard Fairey art on the side of Parlor Gallery:

Pork Chop art in the Casino on the boardwalk:
The Creepy Tower
Looks like it's a Mayan temple, but I think it was a giant fountain and boat house for duck-shaped boats.
Wonder Bar and Tillie
Tillie is the big smiling dude head, and the Wonder Bar is the bar (and rock club). Tillie is (more or less) the mascot of Asbury Park.
