My friend Scott built me a bicycle out of spare parts. It’s great for zipping around the 200 ft wide 4 mile long town I live in. In Japan, they take DIY bike building to another level adding Anime girls all over the bikes. I like Anime, but this is taking an obsession a bit too far. Or maybe not. You only live once… you might as well live crazy.

Is your beach filthy? Here’s a list of American’s filthiest beaches. I swam for about 2 hours yesterday, and without sun block. I’m probably doomed, but my beach is not on the filth list, so maybe not.

That said, he hasn’t written a hit song in like 30+ years so what does he blame for his own lack of productivity???

I never thought I’d see my lens cap again after losing it on the beach during the storm last night, but I found it washed up in sea scum about a mile from my apartment.

55 Bells has an article on Automan, the 80s TV show. If I remember correctly it was like Night Rider + Tron.

The worst part about being Automan’s buddy is driving in the car with him: because he’s made of electricity he can withstand the G forces that come with taking sharp turns — people made of meat are less fortunate. Also, I don’t think Automan is interested in women — because he’s made of electricity and no other reason.

I wonder if The J-Man still has the portrait he painted of Automan back in High School.

Every now and them you’ll be watching a cell phone commercial and you’ll be thinking: “who is that singing? That ain’t no band I ever done heard before.” For the most part this is because people who work on Madison avenue don’t buy their music solely based on the VH1 top 10, or from a rack in Wal*Mart.
