Barracuda: The Lotsa Tiki Issue

Cuda. Barracuda magazine is “yesterday’s stag magazine of the future today”. Barracuda harkens back to a time (pre 1962) when men knew how to use tools, when men didn’t wear makeup and shave their bodies, when men didn’t mind if a woman had some extra jelly on her curves (to paraphrase Beyonce). If you’re into 50’s hot rods, pre-Johnson pop culture, real rock ‘n’ roll, bachelor cooking tips and “real man hijinks”, then you need to subscribe to Barracuda. (If you’re worried about your lady freaking out, know that the pin-ups are classy; fortunately or unfortunately, you won’t see any more skin than you would on a public beach).

Issue #22 is the Lotsa Tiki Issue. The article “Tiki: Mysterious Icon of the Pacific” provides an excellent initiation to the mystery and history of the Tiki, “France Landford’s Outrigger Restaurant” tells the story of a real Tiki restaurant, and the photo shoot “Nothing Succeeds Like Nothing” features sexy model Jelena Jensen [NSFW] hanging out in a Tiki bar.
