Who is Mack "Truck" Turner?

Mack "Truck" Turner (Isaac Hayes) is an ex pro football player turned super bad skip tracer. When he's not chasing down bad ass pimps or "bustin' heads and breakin' jaws", he's visiting his old lady Annie (Annazette Chase) "the booster" at jail. In Truck's world, the pimps are tough and the madams are tougher. Gator (Paul Harris) is a coke snortin' pimp, mean as they come, and the madam who runs his house of hens, Dorinda (Nichelle Nichols), has a body that would make any man weak at the knees, and a mouth so foul she could make a statue blush. Harvard Blue (Yaphet Kotto) is Gator's well dressed rival. Blue is as cold as an iceberg in December. Truck's not alone though; he has his jive mouthed partner Jerry (Alan Weeks) and Nate (Sam Laws) the bail bondsman on his side, not to mention Annie's cat, who likes to pee on Truck's clean laundry. I'm not going to tell you what happens because I want you to rent or buy this movie and find out for yourself. The soundtrack, performed by Isaac Hayes, is still available on Stax/Fantasy Records, and is worth checking out too...
